About Chi Phi
Founded in 1824, the Chi Phi Fraternity is the oldest social fraternity in the United States. It was formed on the basis of three organizing principles: Truth, Honor and Personal Integrity. To our members these are eternal values.
At the same time, Chi Phi has begun to integrate a modern set of core values. These include Leadership Development, Community Service and Career Advancement.
To build better men through lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, career advantages, and character development.
We will engage in mutually enriching relationships.
We will respect each other, the fraternity, society, and ourselves.
We will interact in an open and truthful way.
We will fulfill our moral expectations as individuals and as a group.
We will accomplish more than what is expected of us.
We will build better men, better leaders, and better citizens.
We will endeavor to provide advantages to achieve personal and career goals through internships, job assistance, and a lifetime of career guidance through our EDCAP mentorship program for actives and alumni.
About Eta Delta
Originally founded in 1934 at the University of Southern California, the Chi Phi Fraternity (Eta Delta Chapter) made its return debut in the Fall of 2016 to re-establish its Chapter within the USC Greek Community. At its peak, USC Chi Phi sustained over 100 undergraduate members. Today its base of over 1,000 alumni represents a wide spectrum of key business, government, medical, and engineering affiliations who remain active as Career Mentors, Advisors, and Alumni Association Officers in support of USC Chi Phi’s core mission—to provide an ongoing career advantage for all of its members. To achieve this, undergraduate members of USC Chi Phi are provided Alumni Mentors as part of its Career Advancement Program.
Our Motto - Build better men socially, physically and intellectually
